A few questions about veneers...?

I am considering veneers for my stained and chipped front two teeth. Do veneers need replacing after a certain number of years? How can I make sure to find a good cosmetic dentist to do them? How much can I expect to pay? How can I find a great deal? And finally, does anyone know about Lumineers, the thin veneers that don't require filing down the tooth first? Thanks.

Reply:veneer replacement depends on how you use it and on the conditions of the surrounding oral tissues (like gums and bones surrounding the tooth) It s better to have some referrals on choosing a good cosmetic dentist.Veneers are one of the good replacement to the missing tooth structure, But it should be good not only aesthetically but also functionally.

my dentist charges 1,000.00 per tooth for veneers. I don't know if that's a good deal or not, just telling you what i'm told.


you can call around your local dentist offices and ask them prices on their veneers.


I would say to go to a well known cosmetic dentist that has a lot of good feedback from other patients.


best of luck though, i'm looking to get veneers in the future when i can afford them.
