How can I fix my teeth without veneers?

I'm a 15 year old female and I have the worst teeth ever. Almost all of them are crooked and some of them are larger in length. I don't come from a rich family so I can't afford veneers. I know braces don't work because my brother had those and he has a gap in his teeth. Can someone help me?

The reason for your brother to still have a gap


may be because of poor oral care after removal of braces or he didnt have a complete 3 years of retaining the braces or he did not heed the dentist's advice to put on his retainer.
