Please help! What do I do if my temporary veneers are falling out?

Hi, I just got my temporary veneers put on YESTERDAY, and when I woke up this morning they were loose and one of them actually broke off and fell out. These are just the temps, not the real veneers, so I've heard that that do fall out sometimes, but its only been one day, AND its Saturday so I can't contact my dentist for 2 days! Should I use denture adhesive? Something else? Please let me know if this is normal and what I should do to temporarilly reattach it. Thanks.

You are going to have to go back to the dentist so they can put them back on. Denture adhesive will NOT work! It's common for veneers to come off. They do sell something like a temporary dental cement at your local drug store for crowns. Maybe It will help you out until Monday. Give it a try!
Reply:YOU CAN USE THE SAME MATERIAL USED TO MAKE A TEMPORARY FILLING, BOUGHT AT THE DRUG STORE, AND MIX UP A SMALL AMOUNT AND PLACE IN N THE INSIDE OF THE TEMP. AND HOLD IN PLACE ON YOUR TOOTH FOR 1 MINUTE.

NEVER, EVER USE NAIL GLUE OR SUPER GLUE AS THIS WILL MAKE YOUR FINAL PORCELAIN VENEER NOR FIT.
Reply:Whatever you do, do not glue them. You will risk starting all over again. Denture adhesive is OK to use, but it will not work well. Might get you by in a fashion. Temporaries and permanent veneers can come off. With the permanent veneers, all it takes is a little water vapor at the wrong time and the bond might not do right. With the temps, your dentist tried to make it easy on you the next appointment by not having a hard time removing the temps. Although 1 day sounds like a chemical failure. I have seen people stick them back on for a couple of hours with gum. Nothing works well except the mix the dentist has.
