What are veneers exactly? How long do they last?

What are veneers?
Veneers are covering which will cover your front teeth. This is possible because they shave your teeth down small and place the veneers over them(like getting a permanent gold tooth). People get veneers when they have very small teeth, or lots of spaces, and aren't interested in braces, or sometimes, to get a bigger brighter smile. Veneers are pretty, but if you want them to last long you have to take good care of them. Veneers are extremely sensitive, they can not withstand the normal hardships as a normal healthy tooth. You must avoid biting your nails(or other hard objects such as pins and ice, etc), grinding your teeth, and avoid staining influences, such as teas, coffee, tobacco products, etc) and if you do these things most veneers will last atleast 10years.
