You're too young for this type of treatment as your gumline is not stable during puberty and will recede as you get older. I don't think permanent veneers under the age of 20 is appropriate or ethical treatment.


Have you considered composite bonding in the meantime as a more conservative option? Did your dentist give you this option? Did he/she give you an estimated lifespan for the porcelain veneers?


Get a second opinion. I don't care about the cost, but the rationale for the treatment is suspicious.
