Years ago I fell and my a few of my teeth were knocked out, and my front teeth ended up sitting farther back (sort of indenting, leaning, back instead of coming more to the front of my mouth) This changed the appearance of my upper lip because it seems to fall down and look thinner than it is..when i pull up on it it looks how it used to but the way my teeth sit makes it kind of fall. That's the best way I can explain it. I've got a few veneers that were mandatory to protect my injured teeth but I'm not happy at all with the way they look. If I went to a better cosmetic dentist could they give me thicker veneers perhaps that sit towards the front of my mouth more to support my upper lip? Is that possible?
Thanks in advance.
Can dental veneers change the way your lips appear?
i have veneers on my upper . before i had small teeth and when i got the veneers it totally changed my facial appearance.
the veneers were bigger than my regular teeth and it made a huge difference. i spent alot of money on them and went to a adentis that does alot of cosmetic work. In this case, you get what you pay for. I've seen horrible veneers and veneers that are true works of art.
i would see about getting them replaced. As you know, the procedures are permanent so the only real choice would be to have them done again.
I definitely think they can fix that
