Thinking about getting veneers done, are they worth the money?

My teeth are nice and white, but i have a good size gap between my two front teeth and i cant stand it. I've been told to get veneers i went to my dentist and we talked about it, they definitely sound good and i could have perfect teeth within a month. Does anyone know of and defects they have and if anyone has them how did they turn out of you? In order to fix my teeth i have to get a total of 8 veneers on the top row and thats $10,000.

I'd only do the ones you can see.........at least for now. Like maybe the most obvious 4? And then if you want to do the others later............ I haven't gotten them but I am currently wearing braces so that I CAN get them. I'm missing the tooth that is supposed to be next to my "big tooth" on the right. It never came in, so the "fang tooth" is there, and it makes me feel lopsided. I was told I had to get braces to get veneers to make my teeth look like they should. Most people don't notice it but I do. So the money question is up to you, is it worth it to YOU to look better?
