Can getting veneers re-done multiple times in a few years ruin your teeth?

I'm worried about becoming the Michael Jackson of teeth here, but my dentist put veneers in that completely don't match the colour of the rest of my teeth, particularly in photos. I know it is difficult to match the colour, so i'm hoping to get more of them done at the same time this time, I just don't want to ruin my 2 front teeth. Does anyone know if there is extra risk associated with having them re-done (now this being the 2nd time they are re-done since the first time he didn't seal them properly and they started to gray at the edges)? I am definitely getting a better dentist this time... what a pain in the A$$.

Not only on the Dentist side are the hard to do, but also the lab side. No problems for your teeth if you keep getting them re-done. Where the tooth shades that far off? If not the Dr. or the lab could of applied some stain to better cature your tooth colour. Good Luck (hopefully for the last time.)
Reply:Veneers are hard to do. They were oversold to the profession as Lee press on nails but they are much harder to master. So the best dentist to choose are the ones who are doing a lot of them and have a lot of post graduate education in the field. You can replace them for all long as you can afford them. However, if they were originally properly prepared, then you will always need veneers or crowns.
