Questions involving Veneers?

I have my braces off. I have bleached my teeth. but im unsatisfied by the way my 2 front teeth are originally shaped. the bottom part of my 2 front teeth do not connect, because my 2 front teeth sort of curve off about 2 millimeters before you reach the lowest edge of my front teeth. Does any one know what i mean? like, my teeth arent perfectly squared at the bottom.

I want to get veneers to fix it, its not a very big gap.its just i want my front teeth to connect at the edge from the bottom instead of curving off. so its sort of like fixing a broken or chipped tooth, but its not chipped or broken, its just the way my teeth are originally shaped.

Any ideas on how much it would cost?

and do the veneers cover the whole tooth? because this isnt exactly for whitening or making my teeth look straighter, its just to make them look more connected by the shapes of them.

Questions involving Veneers?
hmm...i get wht u mean...i get how ur teeth are shaped.yes, veneering is a good option.u can get either composite or porcelain veneers.composite is more conservative which means that u'll lose less of ur tooth structure.porcelain has its own advantages like it won't stain much n the colour matching will be better.but it'll be more expensive.i'd advise a composite fer the time being.n yes, porcelain veneers normally cover the whole tooth.but u can get a partial composite venner tht will fix ur problem too.veneering is a painless procedure and is usually only cosmetic.u need to know tht if u get a composite veneer,u can't bite hard stuff wit ur front teeth
Reply:couldnt the dentist just "shave" the bottoms off your teeth to make them look square? that would cost less than veneers
Reply:I agree with ryn. If you don't want to shave your teeth down a composit bonding is a good option. A 2 mm embrosure(the triangle at the chewing surfaces between the two teeth) is a big number in dentistry and no wonder it bothers you. But the bondings don't last as long as veneers.
