Uncomfortable veneers??

i had 6 top veneers done 5 months ago and have had a lot of problems. i was experiencing severe pain so went to another dentist. i have now had to have a root canal cuz of the damage the first dentist did. i also have to get all the veneers redone because they do not fit my mouth at all. this has caused me a lot of stress and anxiety cuz they are completly uncomfortable. my new dentist seems like he knows what he is doing but im worried that i will be unable to get used to them again. has anybody else had these problem? im focused on them 24/7 cuz they are so uncomfortable. is this normal?

You're braver than I am! I thought about getting veneers at one time and was nervous that I wouldn't be able to get used to 'feeling' them on my teeth, like they would be thicker or something.


Anyway, I hate that you have to go through all this. When it comes to my mouth I'm a huge baby!
